Swedish vocalist Robin Red (degreed) has announced the release of his debut solo album, a self-titled affair, on September 17, 2021 via Frontiers Music Srl. The album was written by Robin along with Dave Dalone of fellow Swedish rockers H.E.A.T., who also produced and plays guitars on the album. "'Don’t Leave Me (With A Broken Heart)' is a song originally written by Thomas Jakobsson and Björn Axelsson back in the early nineties. Actually, the very famous Swedish artist Carola Häggkvist is singing on the first demo. The song was never released back then, and I have the honor of being the one to finally release it," says Robin of the album's lead single. "My mindset when I put this album together was to keep it very much as classic rock as possible, I think, haha. Think of it as a 1983 release. I think you will hear a bit of Foreigner, John Waite, Bryan Adams, and Rick Springfield in there," he adds. In 2020, Robin Red, lead vocalist of Sweden's degreed, decided to launch a solo career and sent his demos to Frontiers Music Srl, who were quite thrilled with what they heard, to say the least. ”I’ve been thinking about doing a solo album for many years. It’s kind of a dream come true. But I never really felt ready, not until now. I went back to my roots and made it a little more organic. I'm very inspired by artists like Jimmy Barnes and Bryan Adams, and the sound is not far from there, I think. But it is still me,” says Robin.  The resulting album is indeed a melodic rock fest with catchy, uptempo songs that will mightily impress fans of the genre and especially of such artists as Foreigner, Rick Springfield, Bryan Adams and John Waite. The album was recorded together with Dave Dalone (H.E.A.T), as producer, guitarist and co-songwriter.  Robin Red is a Swedish rock singer most well known for being one of the founding members of the popular melodic hard rockers degreed. With them, he has toured all over Europe in support of five well received studio albums and is currently working on their sixth studio album. Cindy Valentine was born in Italy and raised in Canada. She attended the Royal Conservatory Of Music in Toronto. She released two solo albums, one hard-rock with CBS Canada entitled "Rock & Roll Heart Attack" in 1984, and one Urban dance on Polygram in 1986 entitled "Secret Rendez-vous". She released a single on Arista Records in 1989 that was in the Billboard top 15 in the top 40 entitled "Pick Up The Pieces To My Heart" and sang three songs on Jellybean's "Spillin' The Beans" album on Atlantic Records. She was signed at age 9 and looked much older than her years - her manager made sure so that she could perform in bars that were unionized. Cindy is also a songwriter for other artists, a filmmaker, and an actress. She has scored and music supervised many movies. She currently goes by her birthname of Cindy Valentine Leone (She is the niece of famed director Sergio Leone).

Vocalist Kent Hilli’s debut solo album “The Rumble” is the culmination of the musical path that the Swedish singer started journeying down since he debuted with Swedish melodic rock upstarts Perfect Plan. To craft the album, Kent joined forces with Mike Palace, who produced the album. This musical partnership has turned out to be a “match made in heaven”. Mike is an amazing talent and together with Kent they have developed an incredible chemistry that really caught the sound Kent was envisioning for the album. "My goal with this album, musically, was to find a classic yet modern feel and sound and to differ a bit from what I'm known for with Perfect Plan. I also wanted to make a diverse album containing everything from rockers to ballads.  I am a huge fan of Giant, Foreigner, Survivor, Starship, Whitesnake, etc. and I wanted these influences to shine through as well as bringing my own sound and identity to the songs. Mike Palace had the exact same vision for the music and we have the exact same influences, so it was an immediate match made in heaven. Mike is a real genius and just a dream to work with. I also co-wrote with the great Alessandro Del Vecchio and Pete Alpenborg on two songs, with Mike on one song, and with my talented sister Tina on one song, which was really great fun. I am so very thankful and blessed to have had the chance to work with these talents," says Hilli. As mentioned above, Kent wrote all the songs on the album himself, except for four songs which were co-written. One with Palace, two with Alessandro Del Vecchio and Pete Alpenborg, and one with Kent's sister Tina.  A diverse album with both rockers and ballads, "The Rumble" is going to be a true delight for melodic rock fans. It is also a very “relationship oriented” album, with lyrics that are coming from a place of personal experience. "The first single is about the joy, the expectations, the promises, the disappointments, and struggles in a relationship where one party is giving it a 100% and the other party is not. It is also about living in the here and now and enjoying life 'cause it will not last forever. Taking care of one another and enjoying and being thankful for what you have. Musically, it came together when I was jamming one day and found this great hook on the chorus and I immediately got the theme of the song. Mike Palace did a wonderful arrangement to the song after I had sent him the acoustic version of the song," Hilli says of first single 'Don't Says It's Forever'.  The album resounds with the inspiration and influences from Kent's idols like Giant, Foreigner, Survivor, Whitesnake, and Europe, to name a few. That musical style is built in Kent's DNA by now. The legendary voices of Lou Gramm, Jimi Jamison, Dann Huff, David Coverdale, Joe Lynn Turner, and Joey Tempest are Kent's true inspirations and have influenced his vocal style. But anyone following along knows that Kent is very much his own singer and one of the finest to emerge in the melodic rock scene in quite some time. UK post-punk band formed in 1977, London, by brothers Tim Butler and Richard Butler. The band released eight studio albums to date and have been produced by a variety of producers, such as Steve Lillywhite, Todd Rundgren, Keith Forsey, Chris Kimsey, David M. Allen and Stephen Street.

Their 1981 song "Pretty In Pink" was picked by director John Hughes as the title of his 1986 teen movie and the re-made version of the song became their biggest hit until then. Other highlights of their catalogue are "Love My Way", "Sister Europe" and their biggest US hit "Heartbreak Beat".

In 1991 they went on hiatus while Richard Butler and Tim Butler launched a new group, Love Spit Love that lasted for two albums (1991 & 1997). In 1996, singer Richard Butler released his self-titled solo album.

The Furs reformed in 2000 for the release of a live album and, since then, the band continue to tour. They released a new studio album in 2020, the first since 1991

The group's style is an amalgam of the classic melodic hard rock and AOR genres, with hooky choruses, beautiful keyboards, vocal harmonies, and loud guitars in the style of their favorite mid-80's bands, bringing to life this well beloved music in the 21st century.
